There’s nothing more nurturing than eating the produce out of your own garden.
MG21 has a garden on our grounds. We have built raised beds and students plant and care for the garden in the autumn and the spring. They learn how to plant crops, nuture and water them. They ensure that the garden is free of weeds and the soil is healthy. They harvest the ripe vegetables and fruit and make tasty food in our kitchen with the produce. They learn about composting and preparing the garden to winter-over so that it can once again be planted in the spring.
