Career and Technical Education (CTE) combines academic and technical skills with the training necessary to succeed in the labor market.

Start College Now allows high school students the opportunity to take college courses at Wisconsin Technical Colleges. It prepares them for the rigor of college study as well as develops knowledge and skill for their chosen career field.
Start College NowYOUTH APPRENTICESHIP
The Wisconsin Youth Apprenticeship program provides school-based and work-based learning to high school students. Students are able to learn real-world career skills through a variety of Youth Apprenticeship choices.
Key Components of Youth Apprenticeship:
• Available to high school juniors and seniors
• Students work 10-12 hours/week during the school day
• Students gain necessary power skills needed for successful careers
• Students work a part-time job in a field of actual career interest
• Students enroll in pathway-specific concurrent related instruction
