8 | 9 - MGHS Future Freshman Night
5:15 pm-8:30 pm 12/09/2024 At Monona Grove High School Families and current eighth-grade students are invited to attend the MGHS Future Ninth Grade Overview on Monday, December 9th. The evening will begin with an optional Activities and Athletics Fair from 5:15-5:45 in the commons, followed by a short program in the auditorium at 6 pm. The presentation will share general information regarding expectations at the high school as well as provide an overview of the required classes at MGHS. From 6:30 to 8:30 families will have an opportunity to visit classrooms to learn about the elective offerings at MGHS in order to make informed course selections for ninth grade.” COURSE REGISTRATION TIMELINE FOR 2024-2025 School Year Important dates for 8th grade students and their families: December: Course Handbook 2024-2025 will be posted to Monona Grove High School website December 9: MGHS Future Ninth Grade Night at Monona Grove High School Week of December 18: Current eighth grade students who are new to the district should return their completed course selection sheet – signed by a parent/guardian – to Monona Grove High School no later than December 22.
